Overview

青岛迎宾馆(青岛德国总督楼旧址博物馆)位于青岛市龙山路26号,背倚风景如画的信号山公园,与中国海洋大学、基督教堂等遥遥相对,地理位置突出,环境幽雅。迎宾馆原是德国驻胶澳(即青岛)总督的官邸,故名"总督官邸",俗称提督楼。

     青岛迎宾馆(青岛德国总督楼旧址博物馆)位于青岛历史城区的中心地带,始建于1905年7月,落成于1907年7月,德国建筑师维尔纳•拉查洛维茨设计。起初,它是德占时期胶澳总督的住宅,两任总督奥斯卡•冯•特鲁伯和麦尔•瓦尔戴克曾在此居住。由于总督一职大致相当于中国明清军队中的提督,故民间曾呼之为“提督楼”。1932年以前,它一直是青岛军政首脑的官邸。1934年,时任青岛市市长的沈鸿烈将其命名为“迎宾馆”,遂成青岛最高级别的接待宾馆。1957年夏,毛泽东主席曾在此下榻。1996年,国务院将其公布为全国重点文物保护单位。1999年,这幢百年名楼再度实现了历史性的转型,设为近代建筑遗址类博物馆对外开放。 这是在近代中国出现的最具代表性的一幢德国风格建筑,具有突出的历史、艺术与科学价值,集中体现了西方建筑史上诸多风格的流变轨迹,典型反映了19世纪与20世纪之交德国乃至欧洲建筑思潮的某些特殊征候,在建筑艺术的包容性、协调性与纪念性上均堪称典范。尤为可贵的是,它还以特殊的方式深刻地透现出了东西方两大文化体系之间相互对话的迷人景深,缘此而形成的跨文化图景趋于宏大完备,已然将艺术多样性与文化多元化的意义引向了远方。诚如梁思成先生所言,它是融合东西方多种文化理念于一体的建筑艺术巨制。



The former German Governor's House was situated at the center of Qingdao's historical area. Designed by Werner Lazarowicz, a German architect, its construction work was started in July 1905 and opened in July 1907. During the period of German occupation, it served as the residence of Kiautschou Governor. Since a governor was equivalent to Tidu, a provincial commander-in-chief of the Chinese army in Ming and Qing Dynasties, the building was called “Tidu's house” at that time. Before 1932, it had always functioned as the residence of top military officers and civil officials in Qingdao. In 1934, it was renamed “Guest House” , and became the most famous reception hotel in Qingdao. In 1957, Chairman Mao Zedong stayed in this building. In 1996, the State Council declared it a Key Heritage Site under State Protection. In 1999, it was opened to the public as a museum. It is a representative building featuring German architectural style in modern China. With its remarkable historic, artistic, and scientific value, it fully demonstrates the evolving track of Western architectural style in history and typically represents the special characteristics of architectural thoughts in Germany and even in the whole Europe at the turn of 20 century. In addition, it indicates the long history of dialogues between eastern and western cultures and this intercultural prospect has a strong appeal. It has also advanced the arts and cultures diversity. Just as Mr. Liang Sicheng said, it is a monumental work in architectural art, which embodies the integration of various eastern and western cultural philosophies.
